Born and raised in the midwest, Michael Bresnahan grew up on a steady diet of Saturday morning cartoons, comic strips, and comic books. Inspired by his Grandmother's artistic ability, Michael decided at an early age to become a cartoonist.
After graduating from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Michael went on to produce the comic book series Dim-Witted Darryl, published by Slave Labor Graphics. Since then, he has worked as a freelance illustrator creating art for magazines, CD covers, T-shirts, advertising, and character design for animation.
One of Michael's many strengths is creating irresistible characters with mass appeal. His subject matter runs the gamut from adorable cartoon cuties to creepy lowlife weirdos.
Michael lives and works in the beautiful village of Greendale, Wisconsin.
